LimoShare a group to American Sign Museum

The American Sign Museum is a fantastic, nostalgic destination for large groups and a trip down memory lane!  There’s a lot of signs there that are long gone, but we think you’ll vividly remember them from your youth.

They also do group visits after normal operating hours.  That’s something to think about, because a bus load of people is a group.  You can have food and drinks catered if you like.

What a great place.  Especially if you are older – boy is this a trip down memory lane.

Call us to plan it (Planners go for free), or visit our LimoShare calendar and save your seat!

History
Their history is interesting.  The founder, Tod Swormstedt, is from a family that owned a signage industry trade journal called “Signs of the times”.    Signs of the times was started by his grandfather right here in Cincinnati.  That’s why we have it instead of a bigger city like Chicago or New York.
They now have over 200 signs, some of which are really old.  They’ve expanded over the years, and the current facility is over 42,000 square feet.  It’s located in Camp Washington just north of Downtown.  The building is the national register of historic places – kinda neat.
That’s a lot of signs.
There’s a company in there now called Neonworks of Cincinnati.  They have a live exhibit showing people how neon signs are restored.  That sounds pretty interesting.
They say allow an hour or more to tour it – have fun!
