Limousine
companies
with no
vehicles
None!
When we do a Google search for “Party Bus Cincinnati”, we get a lot of companies that are based thousands of miles away, with no vehicles in Cincinnati.
And they hide it well.
What the heck is a “Farm Out” company?
A Farm Out company is a limo company with no vehicles in Cincinnati.
They have a Cincinnati area code phone number
They have the word “Cincinnati” all over their web sites.
They have a Cincinnati area address
Just no vehicles in Cincinnati.
No party buses.
No limousines.
Nothing.
They are “Farm Out” companies.
They have a website that screams “We are your Cincinnati area limo service”, but they are actually in New York. Or Miami. Or LA.
You book with them. Then they sell your reservation to a limo service that is actually based in Cincinnati and that actually has vehicles in Cincinnati.
Because they don’t.
Here’s how it might work. They quote you $1,500 for “their” services. You book it. You don’t read the rental agreement very closely. They sell you to a local company that is quoting $1,400 if you had called the local guy direct. They pocket the difference, and laugh all the way to the bank.
And good luck if something goes wrong. Both companies might point to the other guy if there are problems. Read their rental agreement very very carefully. It will be an eye opener. Lot’s of disclaimers.

What are the give aways that I’m dealing with a “Farm Out” company?
- No address or an address with no vehicles visible via Google earth
- A Rental agreement that says they can sell or transfer your rental to someone else
- Refusing to let you come to their location and view the vehicles
- Refusing to answer this simple question – “How many of your vehicles titled in your company’s name are in Cincinnati Ohio”?
What happens if the limo company I thought I was renting from sells my rental to another company that doesn’t do a good job?
Great question. What do you think?
Does Motortoys accept “Farm In” rentals?
Nope. We think the whole “Farm In” thing is fraught with potential problems and dishonest. If a company is based somewhere out of town, they should clearly state it instead of trying to sound like they are here. That way you can make an informed decision.
If they are doing their best to hide it – well, hiding things is a poor way to do business.
Let’s be fair. Some “Farm In” places are good. If you have a good or bad experience with one, Live chat us – we’d love to hear about it!
